AMUSE ENTERTAINMENT is the Korean subsidiary of AMUSE, a comprehensive Japanese entertainment company that continues to produce high-quality entertainment based on its belief in sharing joy and inspiration with as many people as possible.

Since its establishment in 2000 with the aim of becoming a hub for cultural exchange between Korea and Japan, AMUSE ENTERTAINMENT has contributed to cultural exchange between the two countries through the investment, production, distribution, and dissemination of numerous Korean films and dramas, including the films Shiri and Joint Security Area (JSA), and the dramas My Lovely Sam Soon and The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.

Since 2020, AMUSE ENTERTAINMENT has been developing various businesses primarily in Japan and Korea, including new artist discovery, artist management, concert planning, production and operation, music production and distribution, investment, production, distribution and dissemination of Korean content, and live viewing services worldwide. In addition, the company is expanding its IP (intellectual property) planning and development business by forming teams with leading Korean creative professionals in various fields, including music producers, drama producers, drama writers, musical writers and composers. AMUSE ENTERTAINMENT is also actively expanding Korean musicals into the Japanese market through licensed productions of Korean musicals such as Marie Curie, Mia Familia, and Red Book in Japan, as well as theatrical live viewings in Japan of Korean musicals such as Elisabeth, Phantom, and The Man Who Laughs.

The musical OZ, planned and produced with the Asian market in mind, was exported to China as a licensed production shortly after its Korean premiere in 2023, while simultaneously being successfully staged as a Korea-Japan co-production in Japan, establishing itself as a global musical. In addition, AMUSE ENTERTAINMENT, which has strong expertise in marketing strategies for the Japanese market, is actively involved in producing the entry of overseas artists, primarily Korean artists, into the Japanese market.
